Derby Homes understand how important it is for our customers to enjoy their homes in a safe and peaceful environment. Our goal is to ensure that all our communities are free from anti-social behaviour and crime, providing spaces where people can live and work without fear or disruption.

As part of our ongoing efforts, we have written a new policy on the use of CCTV (Closed Circuit Television) systems, including both customer-owned and our own cameras, to enhance security and assist in the prevention and detection of anti-social behaviour and criminal activity. We also took on board your existing feedback in writing this policy.

Please read the policy, and then answer the short survey to help us understand your views and give us your feedback.

The majority of the feedback was positive and whilst 5 customers left comments about the policy, most of these comments were requesting CCTV at specific locations rather than commenting on the policy itself.

One respondent also said that they would have liked to see the Equalities Impact Assessment (EIA) at the time of the consultation. The Engagement and Feedback Team will consider this for future policy consultations. The EIA for this policy and other past consultations are linked in the document section on the relevant pages.
