Loughborough University was the venue for this year's annual National Tenant Scrutiny Conference.
Hosted by Tpas (Tenant Participation Advisory Service) on 7 October, the event saw hundreds of social housing tenants and their landlords from across the country come together to talk all things scrutiny.
Derby Homes' Customer Voice scrutiny group members Cindy Carter-Foster, David Thomas, Neil Pike and Shaz Davis attended the popular event with our two Engagement and Feedback Officers.
The day began with a panel of guest speakers, including the Regulator of Social Housing's Jack Smith to explain how tenants can challenge and hold their landlord to account for their performance.
Throughout the day, 10 workshops were held to help tenants network, share best practice and learn about effective skills for scrutiny.
