Derby Homes recognises that domestic abuse is a serious violation of human rights and a safeguarding concern that will not be tolerated in any form. We are committed to playing an active role in preventing and addressing domestic abuse within our communities.
This policy outlines our approach to preventing and responding to domestic abuse affecting anyone living in, or connected to, our properties.
It also sets out how we work with specialist services and statutory partners to protect and empower victims/survivors, reduce harm, and support long-term wellbeing, and includes details of support services for those who may need help.
